Barbara Smith

Barbara J. Smith, of Vincennes, passed away September 23, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Barbara had worked as secretary at Eagle Brokers. She was the mother of the church at Cornerstone Ministries for 52 years. Her love of God and family were her priorities.Born March 2, 1930, in Vincennes, Barbara was the daughter of Curtis and Evelyn (Limbach) Crowley. Her parents, her brothers, Jack and Charles William Crowley, and two great-grandchildren preceded her.Surviving is her husband, Don R. Smith, whom she married June 18, 1950; her children, James "Jim" (Carrie) Smith, Sharon (Larry) Speth, Randy (Pam) Smith, Dolores (Mike) Tyner, Rick Smith, and Mick (fiance' Sandi Decker) Smith, all of Vincennes; fourteen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.Friends may visit with the family on Friday, from 4:00 - 8:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home, and also on Saturday, from 10:00 - 11:00 at Cornerstone Ministries, 4370 N. Highway 41. The funeral service will be held at the church at 11:00 on Saturday. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Donations may be made to Cornerstone Ministries.
