Ina Holland

Ina K. "Cookie" Holland, 71, passed away on April 13, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN surrounded by her family. Cookie was born on September 26, 1951, in Matoon, IL and she is the daughter of Harold and Audrey Jean (Beals) Brandeinstein. She married Michael Holland on September 24, 1977. Cookie enjoyed crocheting, adult coloring books, baking, cooking, and loved being around her friends. She was a member of South Gibson Apostolic Church in Owensville and that was her life. She attended church any chance she could. Survivors include her husband of over forty-five years, Mike Holland of Princeton, IN; her children, Shawn Holland of Princeton, IN, Rodney Holland and his wife Kelly of Princeton, IN, Ron Holland and his wife Melissa of Princeton, IN; her grandchildren, Destin Holland, Gavan Holland, Shadoe Holland, Dacia Midddleton, Hayley Kreig; 3 great grandchildren; her sister Diane Powell and her husband Tom of Poseyville, IN; brothers Russell Brandeinstein and his wife Jackie of Florida, Butch Rager and his wife Rita of Carmi, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Cookie is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Audrey Jean Brandeinstein, infant son, Eric Holland, and her sister Judy Cordes. Friends may visit with Cookie's family on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from noon until 2:00 pm at South Gibson Apostolic Church, 6144 S. 1075 W., Owensville, IN 47665. Cookie's funeral service will begin at promptly 2:00 pm concluding the visitation at the church with Pastor's Jim Freels, Jeremy Wright and Jeremy Lang.
