Lisa Watts

Lisa R. Watts, 60, of Vincennes, IN passed away August 19, 2023. She was born on December 13, 1962, to David McCrary and Charlotte Strate. Lisa graduated from South Knox High School in 1981. She later continued her education at Vincennes University, where she graduated with an associate degree from the nursing program in 2005. Lisa worked at St. Vincent Hospital in the CVICU for 9 years caring for patients and saving lives. She was truly a dedicated nurse and loved helping people. Lisa married Tim Watts on June 22, 1990.

In her free time, Lisa enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, painting by numbers, crafting, coloring, watching Judge Judy, refinishing furniture, getting pampered with the Hot Towel Shave at Vincennes Best Barber Shop, and spending time with her family and dogs. She was a dedicated and loving mom who supported her kids in all aspects of life. Lisa will be deeply missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Lisa is survived by her husband, of 33 years, Tim Watts; children Jamie Carpenter, Bryan Carpenter, Benjamin Watts, Emma Watts; grandchildren Ethan, Kyleigh, and Olivia Napier, Anna Dutton; father David McCrary; mother Charlotte Strate; siblings Lynn Martin, Stacey (Dave) Higgins, Stephanie (Michael) Carter, Jennifer Auberry, Brian Auberry, Denny Strate; dogs Chauncey, Herschel, Ripley; and many nieces and nephews.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Watts. A memorial service will take place at Vincennes Moose Lodge 904 S. 17th St. Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 2-6pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Lisa's honor.
