Mildred Brothers

Mildred L. Brothers, 90, passed away Nov. 24, 2013, at the Chartier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.She was retired from the Vincennes University Bookstore. Mildred was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.Born Sept. 8, 1923, in Knox County, IN, she was the daughter of Arthur and Ruby (Shaner) Cooper. Her parents; her husband, Delmar Brothers; and a brother preceded her.Surviving is her daughter, Paula (Michael) Cockrum of Evansville, IN; her son, Ernest (Deborah) Brothers of Evansville, IN; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 12:00 noon, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 - 12:00 at the church. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chartier Hospice Center.
