Ada Stanley

Ada Louise Stanley, 73, of Sullivan, passed away at 11:40 am on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Sullivan County Hospital in Sullivan, IN. Ada was born in Vincennes on January 26, 1940 the daughter of Sherman Ray and Zettie Ethel (Hicks) Fox. She married Finis Stanley on March 7, 1955 and he survives. Ada worked as head cashier for Noltings IGA in Edinburg, IN. She was very involved with geneology.Survivors include her husband, Finis Stanley of Sullivan; daughter, Leta Gillard of Sullivan; sons, Richard Stanley of Deland, Fl; Phillip Stanley of Edinburgh, IN; David Stanley of Tampa, FL; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ada was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one son, three sisters and four brothers. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
