Adelia Walker

Adelia V. Walker, 93 passed away on February 13, 2012 at the New Willow Manor Nursing Home. Adelia was born on March 27, 1918, in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of Raymond and Elsie (Howard) DeLisle. She married Paul P. Walker on February 4, 1940 and he preceded her in death on December 26, 2001.Adelia was a 1936 graduate of St. Rose Academy and a member of St. John Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons Ronald P. Walker of Indianapolis, IN; Robert E. Walker and his wife Roseanne of Memphis, TN; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Adelia was preceded in death by her brother Howard DeLisle.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street with the Rev. David Fleck officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
