Agnes Lee

Agnes Louise Lee, 88, passed away at 5:15 pm on February 27, 2018 at Gentle Care Nursing Home. Agnes was born on January 17, 1930 in Freelandville the daughter of Irvin and Ilma (Groteguth) Linneweber. She married Wilburn Lee and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1998.Agnes was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ in Freelandville and was a Bookkeeper helping her husband in his automobile repair business. She loved embroidering and bingo and also enjoyed doing puzzles in the puzzle room while she lived at Piankeshaw.Survivors include her daughters, Lorrenda Bezy of Vincennes, Linnette Dailey and her husband Gary of Vincennes; son, Michael McCord of Evansville; grandchildren, Kelly Maione, Micki Dailey, Jamie Lane, Jennifer Dailey, Richard Bezy, Aaron Bezy, Adam Bezy, Zachary Bezy; and twelve great grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilburn Lee, two sister's Bertha Conrad, Marilyn Johanningsmeier, two brothers, Robert and Max Linneweber and a grandson, Michael Bezy.Friends may visit with Agnes' family from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Bethel United Church of Christ in Freelandville on Friday, March 2, 2018. Funeral service for Agnes will conclude the visitation at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Mike DeCoursey officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
