Alice Coleman

Alice Coleman, 90, of Washington, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at her residence.She was born March 27, 1930 in Holland, Indiana to John and Violet (Rauscher) Hilsmeyer.Alice had owned Kidwell's Dress Store with her dear friend , Vonnie Richardson and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Alice loved sports as she was an avid Boilermaker, Pacers, Dodgers, and Colts fan. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and a 58 member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.Surviving are her children Mark Coleman and his wife Michelle of Minneapolis, MN, Kurt Coleman and his wife Donna of Washington, and Julie Williams and her husband Troy of Georgetown, KY; a brother Russell Hilsmeyer of Holland, Indiana; a sister Doris Partenheimer of Holland, Indiana; her five grandchildren Clayton, Kory, Kyle, Tyler, and Joel; along with her great grandchildren Olivia, Jaxon, Alice, and Kellen.Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lloyd Coleman whom she married on June 5, 1954 and preceded her on April 12, 1994; and her siblings Dean Hilsmeyer, Dorothy Partenheimer, and Joan Hilsmeyer.Private graveside services will be Friday, May 1, 2020 at Sugarland Memory Gardens with Rev.
