Alice Mcmillen

Alice M. McMillen, 88, of Vincennes, passed away at 1:00 am Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Gentle Care of Vincennes,She was born November 25, 1930 in Vincennes to Richard Franklin and Laura Katherine (Stelle) Rohrer.Alice was the office manager for her husband Dr. Pat McMillen. A member of the First Baptist Church, she served on the Missions committee, and was the oldest member of the church having been a member for 78 years. She also belonged to the Beta Sigma Phi and enjoyed playing bridge.Surviving are her husband, Dr. Pat McMillen, whom she married on May 5, 1950; her daughters, Jan Marie Meyer and her husband Marvin of Dike, IA, and Jill Mueller and her husband Bruce of Fort Wayne; a sister in law, Dorothy Rohrer; her grandchildren, Jason Woolard, Janet Woolard, Jadean Neireiter, Mindy Strayer, and Tressa MacLennan; along with 10 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; and her four brothers, Don, Milt, Eugene, and Richard Rohrer.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Anderson officiating. Entombment will be in Tower Mausoleum in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
