Aline Hendrixson

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Aline Hendrixson, of Vincennes, Indiana, who left this world on November 26, 2023. Aline was born on June 23, 1941, in Vincennes, Indiana and was the daughter of Elwood and Sarah (Blubaum) Murphy.

Aline was a homemaker, taking pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family and friends. Her home was her castle, filled with the sounds of Elvis' music, a constant reminder of her love for The King. Christmas was a special time for Aline, and she never missed a Hallmark Christmas show. These simple pleasures were the fabric of her life, and she found joy in sharing them with others. Aline found her greatest accomplishment and joy in her family. She was a beacon of love and warmth, and her legacy will continue to live on through those she touched. She was also proud of her work as a housekeeper for many years. She worked at the Executive Inn and the old Crestview Nursing Home.

Aline is survived by her loving daughter, Carol Lockard; grandchildren, Brandy Stone (Bobby) and Cody Hendrixson; great grandchildren, Bobby Stone Jr, Bryceston Stone, Lawaustin Stone, Skyler Stone, Bentley Stone, Bristol Stone, Braden Hendrixson, and Lilyana Hendrixson; nieces, Sarah Kocher (Ivan), Tammy Rupple (Joe), Cheryl Yochum (Steve), Annette Holloway (Jason), Chad Sutton, and Cathy Rice; and several loving nephews and nieces. Her loss is deeply felt, yet we find comfort in the memories of her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering love.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation with Pastor Trevor Murry officiating at 3:00 pm. Burial will be at at later date. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Aline.
