Anna Gilley

Anna LeNore Gilley, 93, passed away at 6:50 am on February 5, 2021 at her residence. LeNore was born July 19, 1927 in Washington the daughter of Malcolm and Helen (Huddleston) Skovsgaard. She married Lionell Glen Gilley, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1984. LeNore was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and quilted at church on many occasions. She also was a good bowler, bowling in many national tournaments and winning many awards. In her older years she became an artist, creating paintings of scenery, animals, and of her grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Glen Gilley and his wife Cheryl of Washington; grandchildren, Zane Gilley, Berin Gilley, Shawn Gilley, Tara Eby, Miranda Parsons; and thirteen great grandchildren. LeNore was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lionell Glen Gilley, Sr.; grandson, Eric Gilley; and her sisters, Gladis Lambert and Maxine Bledsoe. Friends may visit with LeNore's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN with Pastor Gerald Turner officiating.
