Anna E Helderman, 98, of 502 Breckenridge, Monroe City, passed away at 1:21 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Gentlecare Nursing Home.She was born December 12, 1915 in Pike County to Clyde and Lilly (Crow) Inman.Anna was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening.Surviving is her children, Marilyn (Bill) Sellers of Tucson, Arizona, Martha Jo (Dave) Gardner of Monroe City, and Dale (Connie) Helderman of Monroe City; her grandchildren, Chris Gardner, Brian Gardner, Rusty (Amy) Gardner, Rebecca (Dan) Skiver, Levi (Christina) Helderman, Megan (Matt) Kutter, Jessica (Derek) Patton, Whitney (Josh) Carie; her great grandchildren, Brandon Gardner, Nathan Gardner, Nicholas Gardner, Hunter Kutter, Elizabeth Kutter, Bailey Kutter, Hank Kutter, Austin Patton, Abbigail Patton, Haili Anna Carie, Ava Toney, and Luca Helderman.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Helderman, whom she married on March 9, 1937 and died on March 23, 2003, a brother, Arvel Inman; and a daughter in law, Pamela Jane (York) Helderman.Funeral services for Anna will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Wick officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until the service time Tuesday.
