Anna Like

Anna L. Like, 79, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away peacefully at Gentlecare Nursing Home on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Anna was born on May 15, 1944 and is the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Petts) Burke. She married the love of her life, Leland "Butch" Like on September 24, 1966.

Anna was retired after serving over 30 years from the Vincennes Community School system as the Secretary to the Director of the Special Education Department. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, solving puzzles, and working her cross stitch.

Surviving Anna is her husband, Butch Like; daughters, Cindy Like and Susan Hoover (Tony); 5 grandchildren; and her sister in law, Sylvia Burke. Preceding her in death are her parents, John and Gladys (Petts) Burke; brothers, Jim Burke and John Burke; and sister in law, Barb Burke.

A graveside for Anna will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery. All friends and family are welcome to come and share a special memory of Anna. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Anna.
