Anthony "Tony" Black, 56, of Vincennes, IN passed away September 2, 2024. He was born in Vincennes, IN on May 9, 1968, to the late James Henry Black and Hallie Jean Lay. Tony attended Lincoln High School and was a graduate of the 1987 class. He was a hardworking man who worked in construction with Jones and Sons for 10+ years. Tony married Pamela Anderson on February 14, 1998. He was a member of the Local 841 Operator and Engineers Union for many years.
In his free time he enjoyed fishing, cook outs with family, tending his flower garden, solving puzzle books and drinking his coffee at the table with family. Tony will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Hallie Black; mother in law Arlene Barnd.
Tony is survived by his wife, of 26 years, Pam Black; siblings Jay Black and Melissa (Roger) Keller; niece PJ (Richie) Shore; nephew Blaine "AJ" Twitty.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Black. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 8,2024, at 524 Broadway St. from 2-6pm. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 9, 2024, at noon with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following.
