Arlyna Seals

Arlyna Seals, 83, 1358 S. 6th St. Rd., Vincennes, passed away at 10:25 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at BridgePointe Health Campus. Born May 21, 1928, in Monroe, MI, she was the daughter of Phillip Lincoln and Nora (Palmer) Oexmann.Arlyna was retired from Prestolite and was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and DAV Auxiliary.Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Kay Cullivan, Barbara Williams and her husband, Stephen, and Linda Liston all of Vincennes; son, Jimmy W. Seals of Vincennes; sister, Doraetta Klamm of Grants Pass, OR; cousin, Joy Walls of Vincennes; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Preceding Arlyna in death were her parents; husband, Noah Seals, Jr., who passed away March 24, 2010; and brother, Bill Oexmann.Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., with Pastor Pete White officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
