Arthur Tow

Arthur E. Tow of Plainville was born on August 18, 1950 in Shoals, Indiana, the son of Hubert W. and Alice Ethel (Baldwin) Tow. Arthur was a coalminer and worked in the timber business. Working was Arthur's hobby as working was all he did. Arthur married Karen Noel (Wilkes) Evans-Tow on February 1, 1994. On Wednesday June 12, 2019, Arthur passed away at the age of 68 in St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville.Those surviving are his wife, Karen Evans-Tow of Plainville; two step-sons, Terry Evans of Vincennes, and Steven Evans of Plainville; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Brand of Vincennes, and Brenda Richardson of Oaktown; a sister, Alice Irene Canary and her husband Tony of Washington; brother-in-laws Bart Brand and his wife Mary of Fl, and Brent Brand of Vincennes; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Charles Tow and Fred Tow.Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 10:00 am until 1 pm at Goodwin Funeral Home in Vincennes with the funeral service starting at 1:00 pm.
