Barbara Abel

Barbara Jean Abel, 82, of Vincennes, passed away at 3:20 am Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her residence.She was born September 21, 1938 in Vincennes, Indiana.Barbara had worked for Good Samaritan Hospital.Surviving are her children Harold Abel and his wife Terri of Vincennes, April Brewington and her husband Jeff of Florida, and Doris Dillard of Evansville; her brother and sisters Annette Ruppel of Vincennes, Janice Arthur of Vincennes, Linda Lucas of Vincennes, and Steven Berry of Rockville, IN; and her grandchildren Daniel Abel, Justin Abel, Robert Evans, Spring Koeppen, Paul Allen, Brandon Allen, Aaron Dorney, Tasha Christenberry, Josh Barmes, and Ashley Barmes; along with several great grandchildren.Preceding her in death were her mother Doris Lucas; children Cathy Abel, James Abel, and Cheryl Barmes; and a brother Eugene Lucas.There will be no public services.
