Barbara Devine

Barbara Devine, 69, passed away on January 3, 2015 at Health Park Medical Center in Ft. Myers Florida. Barbara was born on August 28, 1945 in Vincennes the daughter of Delbert and Isabel (LaPlant) Reel. She married David Devine on August 28, 1961 and he preceded her in death on June 24, 1995.Barbara had worked as a respiratory therapist at Danville Hospital and enjoyed knitting, shopping and going to the beauty parlor.Survivors include her son, Doug Devine and his wife Kimberly of Cape Coral, FL, daughter, Cynthia Devine of Cape Coral, FL; brother, George Reel of Jamestown, IN; sister, Virginia Gonyea of Nashville, TN; brother, Bobby Reel of Lebanon, IN; sister, Teresa Doty of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, Floyd Devine, Alison Devine, Justin Winters, Heather Weaver and two great grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rose Marie Hubble and brother, Ronnie Reel.Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street, Vincennes, IN with Deacon Earl Ruppel officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit with Barbaras family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
