Barbara Sumner

Barbara J. Sumner, formerly of Knox County, passed away at the Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Jasonville, IN, on Jan. 9, 2015.Born Nov. 11, 1933, in Fritchton, IN, she was the daughter of Fred Hershel and Nina LaRose (Nesbitt) Tisdale. Her parents; her son, Gregory Sumner; her husband, Jackie Sumner; and her brothers and sisters preceded her.Surviving are her children, Teresa McDonald, and her husband, Jeff, of Jasonville, IN, Kathy Tapley and her husband, Terry, of Vincennes, Jacklyn Randall and her husband, Roger, of Bicknell, IN, Harry Lee Sumner and his wife, Mitzi, of Lubbock, TX, LeJeana Jones and her husband, Harold, of Wheatland, IN, and Shane Alan Sumner and his wife, Amanda, of Vincennes; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.A public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, at 2:00, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
