Barbara Thais

Barbara Allen Thais, 75, formerly of Vincennes and Dwight, IL, passed away on June 12, 2012 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Greenwood.She was born on September 17, 1936 in Vincennes to George and Amanda (Smith) Evans.Barbara worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Vincennes. She was a devoted and loving mother who enjoyed her family.She is survived by her children, Jean Anne Thais and her companion, Bill Frickey of Indianapolis, William Joe Thais Jr. and his wife Mary of Indianapolis and Brenda Lord and her husband Nate of Longmont, Colorado; and her two grandchildren, Riley Thais and Bryant Lord.Preceding Barbara in death were her parents, three brothers and four sisters.A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
