Belva Dean Phegley, 75, of Vincennes, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside at 4:40 pm Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born March 28, 1941 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to William and Bertha (Peach) VanLue.Belva had worked at Charlie's Smorgasbord for many years and was a member of the Moose and Eagle's. She loved to dance and sing.Surviving are her children, Randy and Phyllis Reno of Vincennes, Greg and Jenny Reno of Vincennes, Marilyn and Ron Boger of Vincennes, Harry and Jenny Phegley of Littleton, Colorado, and Myra and Ricky Keller of Hymera; a brother, Joe VanLue of Mt Carmel, and Esther Madding of Bedford; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Phegley Sr.; brothers, Clifford, Noble, Tony, Paul, Lyndon, and Chester VanLue; and her sisters, Myrtle, Wilma, and Garnett.Funeral services for Belva will be held at Noon Thursday July 7, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry VanLue officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service Thursday.
