Bernice "Bea" Berry, 87, of Vincennes, passed away Nov. 7, 2012 at the Lodge of the Wabash. Born June 19, 1925, in Ames, IA, she was the daughter of Herman and Blanche Smith. In 1936, the family moved to Indiana. Bernice was a 1942 graduate of Monroe City High School. During WWII, she worked at the shell factory in Evansville, and later worked at the Treasury Dept. in Washington, DC. After moving back to Indiana, she married Bernard Berry in July of 1946. For the next two years they lived in Evansville, then returned to Knox County to the home where they still live. Besides helping her husband on the farm, Bea also worked at Producers Stockyard, in the office for ASC, and in the Knox Co. Treasurer's office. After the birth of her son, JW, she became a stay-at
