Bethany G. Grimes, 48, of Evansville, IN, passed away October 10, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.Bethany was a graduate of South Knox High School, and the University of Southern Indiana. She had worked as a financial consultant for Hilliard Lyons.A gourmet cook, Bethany was passionate about cooking. She enjoyed going out to eat, to sample other styles of cooking. She also enjoyed mushroom hunting.Bethany was an upbeat person. Regardless of what she was going through, she would always ask how others were doing, and had a genuine concern for them. She especially enjoyed her time with her family.Born September 27, 1972, in Greenfield, IN, she was the daughter of G. Jeffrey and Eileen (Oexmann) Palmer. Surviving is her husband, Bret Grimes whom she married September 27, 2007; her mother, Eileen Gaither and her husband, Dennis, of Washington, IN; her father, G. Jeffrey Palmer and his wife, Vickie, of Vincennes, IN; her son, Daniel Grimes of Evansville, IN; and her sisters, Laura Sweeney and her husband, Chad, and Ashley Engle and her husband, Anthony, all of Zionsville, IN.A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, at 11:00 EDT.
