Bettie J. Wyant died Sunday February 4, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born to Melvin and Imogene Wyant on a sweltering September day in 1936, on the Monroe City family farm. Bettie bought the rural Cow Muck Store in the early 1960's, and ran it for several years. She was co-owner and long haul driver for Wells Trucking Co. She team drove to California twice a month hauling produce for Bierhaus and Sons. Her home was always open for all kids and most of them called her mom. She once said she counted 27 kids in the house when she was getting ready to leave on the truck. After retiring from trucking, she worked at JC Penney's and Good Samaritan Hospital. Bettie loved gardening and took great pride in her flowers. She is survived by daughters, Vickie Neveu and her husband, Ron, Judy McCoy and her husband, Terry, and Angie Dreiman and her husband, Martin; grandchildren, Amy Coggins and her husband, Dave, Brandon Neveu and his wife, Kari, Rona Smith and her husband, John, Jared McCoy and his fiance', Christa Fields, Tara Harrell and her husband, Patrick, Michael Holland and his wife, Summer, Kelsey Dreiman and her companion, Colby Deckard, Kendall Dreiman and her companion, Joe Berry; and her great-grandchildren, Nathan and Justin Coggins, Kaden, Bryanna, and Beau Neveu, Samantha and Dalila Smith, Graham and McKenzie Harrell, Shelby Smith, Seth and Loston Harrington, Leevi and Logan Holland, Kylee and Brylee Dobson, Chandler Willis, and Remington, Ashton, and Macie Berry. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Jo; a brother, Melvin Ray; and a granddaughter, Jamie Dobson. Friends may visit with Bettie's family from 1:00 - 3:00 on Sunday, at the Hamline Chapel United Methodist Church near Monroe City, IN. The funeral will begin at 3:00 at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Goodwin Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. WE LOVE YOU GREAT BIG MOTHER!!
