Betty Hall

Betty J. Hall, 73, passed away at 7:59 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. Betty was born on June 16, 1938 the daughter of Fred and Leona (Pruitt) Schutter.She married Richard Hall on May 21, 1989 and he survives. Betty was of the Catholic faith and loved to knit. She was a member of the Moose, Eagles, VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. She loved her dog Suzie. Survivors include her husband Richard Hall of Vincennes; son, Fred McCormick and his wife Angie of Vincennes; grandchildren, Megan Lintzenich and her husband Jonathan; Matt McCormick, Katie McCormick; great grandchildren, Rylan Hunckler, Madison Lintzenich, Quinci and brother, Bob Schutter and his wife Pat of Bruceville. Also surviving are her step children, Richard Hall Jr. and his wife Joyce of Indianapolis, IN; Terry Hall and his wife Anita of St. Francisville, IL; Carla Racey and her husband Bob of Bicknell, Mike Hall and his wife Judy of Vincennes; Sheila Risley and her husband Greg of Oaktown; 8 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her son, Eugene McCormick, brother, William Schutter and a sister Carolyn Pixley. Funeral services for Betty will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Pastor Irwin Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Betty's family from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 12 until service time on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW.
