Betty L. Arvin, 85, of Washington, passed away at 8:15am Thursday, December 19, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.She was born February 28, 1934 in Washington, Indiana to Everett and Lula Belle (Hinkle) Fleetwood.Betty was an associate at Wal-Mart and a member of the Aikman Creek Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Moose Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the Eagles. She loved to dance, reading, and watching westerns.Surviving are a daughter Sandy Mattingly and her husband Jim of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Marcella Page of Martinsville, Indiana, and Don L. Arvin II and his wife Lisa of Newburgh; a brother Daniel Fleetwood of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Dorene Davis, Jack Page, Bradley Mattingly, Chad Mattingly, Nick Mattingly, and Matthew Arvin; her great grandchildren, Reagan Mattingly, Savannah Mattingly, Jordan Davis, McKenzie Phelps, Bradley Page, Katelinne Page, and Bryan Rice; and her three great great grandchildren, Bryan Rice, Lilly Rice, and Liam Phelps.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don L. Arvin whom she married on August 11, 1949 and preceded her on May 10, 1992; her sisters Violet White and Gertie Allen; and a brother Bruce Fleetwood.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 23, 2019 at Aikman Creek Baptist Church . Burial will follow in the Aikman Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aikman Creek Cemetery Fund
