Betty Ransom

Betty Clark Crabtree, 72, formerly of Lee Manor, died on July 10, 2006 at Bon Harbor Nursing & Rehab Center in Owensboro, Ky. She was born in Terra Haute, Indiana to the late Eugene Joseph Clark and Isabell Ollie Simmons Clark. She is retired from Cigar Factory as an operator of 12 years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting. Was a member of Catholic Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William WalkerDocCrabtree. Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca Ann Fredell and her husband, Sam of Beaver Dam, Ky. and Donna Bidwell and her companion, William Meissner of Owensboro; sons, Darmon H. Bidwell, Jr. and his wife, Shelly of Owensboro, Noel Allen Bidwell and his wife, Kellie of Utica; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Stange of Illinois. Graveside services will be at 1:30pm. Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Macedonia Cemetery, visitation is from 11 to 1:00pm. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Panther, Ky. The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: American Diabetes Foundation.
