Billie L. Mayall, 84, of Decker, passed away at 9:25 am Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born on August 14, 1936, to Garris and Lela (Pea) Fleetwood.Billie retired from the Southwest Youth village as a Youth Specialist and served many years as a CASA volunteer, was a kindergarten teacher, substitute teacher, psychiatric technician, and case manger. Her memberships included the Decker Chapel United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. Billie enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts, floral arranging, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.Surviving are her children Julia Morris and her husband Mike of Vincennes, Richard Mayall and his wife Marcie of Monroe City, Kaye Carie and her husband Joe of Decker, Janet Bilskie of Logan, Utah, and JoAnn Beard and her husband Mark of Decker Chapel; 13 grandchildren, Morgan Halter, Christine Morris, Kendall Mayall, Burke Mayall, Ashlynn Mayall, Lisa Riddle, Amy Loudermilk, Jenny Smith, Emily Woods, Karli Sproul, Eric Beard, Aaron Beard, and Lindsey Wolfe; along with 18 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband Jim Thompson; her second husband Vaughn Mayall; her daughter Bethany Thompson; a sister, Adelyn Green; and a grandson Travis Beard.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, with Rev. Evelyn Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Bedell Cemetery in Decker. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Decker Chapel United Methodist Church. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Billie L. Mayall.
