Bob

Robert "Bob" Welton, 55, of Vincennes, IN passed away December 26, 2023. He was born on June 5, 1968, in Vincennes to the late Eugene and Carolyn (Chandler) Welton. He attended Lincoln High School and was a member of the 1987 graduating class. Bob married Angie Yochum on September 5, 1992. He worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as a Phlebotomist for 13 years before continuing his career at Wabash Valley Eye Center for 5 years.

Bob was one of a kind and the life of the party. He enjoyed flower gardening, watching Rosanne, admiring cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. Bob was a proud father and loved his family fiercely. He will be deeply missed by all.

Bob was preceded by his parents Eugene and Carolyn Welton.

He is survived by his wife, of 31 years, Angie Welton; children Brenden (Hailey) Welton and Kenadee Welton; grandchildren Blayne Welton, Esmae Jones, Bryson Welton, Oberyn Jones, Baby Welton; siblings Cindy (Doug) Dunn, Craig (Vickie Earhart) Welton, David (Beth) Welton, Diana (Marshall) Golub; in-laws Cindy and Bob Westfall; sister-in-law Nicki Yochum; and several nieces and nephews.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Welton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024,, from 3-7 pm. Service will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024,  at 524 Broadway St. at 11am.
