Bonnie M. Rohrer, 89, passed away at 2:21 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Bonnie was born on December 18, 1922 in Vincennes the daughter of Henry and Hallie (Roberson) Foster. She married R. Milton Rohrer on June 15, 1941 and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2001. Bonnie owned and operated the Leather Shop with her husband in downtown Vincennes. She was a fifty year member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed bible study and was actively involved in Womens Missionary. Bonnie was an avid bridge player and enjoyed cooking. In her early years she enjoyed golfing with her husband. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the public library. She was a past member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and she performed in the Psi-Iota-XI follies at the Pantheon in the late forties to mid to late fifties. Survivors include daughters, Linda Rice and her husband, Harry of Lawrenceville, IL; Sandy Donnoe and her husband, Bob of Vincennes; son, John Rohrer and his wife Sherri of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, Brady Rice and his wife Nicole, Jennifer Rice-Brickner, Ian Donnoe, Erin Donnoe; Great grandson, Samuel Rice. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, her infant daughter Brenda, grandson Ryan Donnoe and ten siblings. Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at Noon on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, with the Rev. Dan Clemens officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
