Brett Adams

Brett Allison Adams, beloved daughter of Cyrus and Peggy (Vogel) Adams, of Vincennes, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.Brett was born February 12, 1976 in Louisville, KY. She attended UCLA Intervention Program in Los Angeles, CA, United Cerebral Palsy and Benet Schools in Louisville, KY and received a certification of completion from Jennings County High School in North Vernon, IN.Brett was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vincennes where she was an active member of the prayer group. She loved watching football, basketball and golf and enjoyed collecting pictures of family, friends, and her cats, Skipper and Gilligan.Besides her parents she is survived by her grandmothers, Bessie Adams of Vincennes and Winnie Vogel of Seymour, IN; aunts and uncles, Eva Croucher of Land O'Lakes, FL, Ray and Jeannie Gadd of Zephyrhills, FL, Bill and Janet Gadd of Fruitland Park, FL, Wilmus and Betty Adams of Monroe City, IN, Elaine and Joe Ocho of Dundas, IL, Elizabeth and Tom Reel of Downing, MO, Eleanor Peach of Marshall, IL, Pam Bowling of Alexandria, KY, Debbie and Bobby Matney of Commiskey, IN and Danny Vogel of Louisville, KY; special friends, Sue Mahrenholz, Cheryll Simmerman, Anna Wilson, Joe and Zelma Tingle and many cousins.Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3 at 4:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes.
