Bruce Stephens

Bruce Alan Stephens, 52, of 5516 North State Road 67, Bruceville, went to heaven Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.He was born May 10, 1961 in Vincennes, to Wayne and Betty (Steimel) Stephens.Bruce worked at McAllister Machinery in Washington. He was a member of the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where he enjoyed helping in the church. He also enjoyed golfing and being around his family and friends.Surviving is his wife Teresa (Myers) Stephens, whom he married August 21, 1982; his children, Jessica Stephens of Bicknell, Chelsea (Tony) Cummins of Vincennes, and Zachary Stephens of Bruceville; his brothers, Gary (Diane) Stephens of Knoxville, TN, Kevin Stephens of Bruceville, and Roger (Dawn) Stephens of Brownsburg, and his two grandchildren, Jude Mulkey and Eva Cummins.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday June 27, 2013 at St. Philip Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Bruceville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Goodwin Crematory, Gardner Brockman Chapel.
