Byron Dunn

Barney Dunn, 90, passed away at 5:35 pm on May 19, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Barney was born in Knox County, Indiana on June 10, 1925 the son of Richard Terry and Grace (Bateman) Dunn. He married Eleanor "Bobbi" Overbay on August 31, 1947 and she preceded him in death on November 15, 2011.Barney was a self-employed and a member of Wheatland Christian Church where he served as an Elder for thirty years. He was a member of the White River Valley Antique Association and the Knox County Farm Bureau. Barney served his country in the Army Air Corp during WW II and enjoyed his family and being outdoors.Survivors include his sons Richard Dunn and his wife Sue of Wheatland, David Dunn of Wheatland, grandchildren, Damon Dunn and his wife Tonya, David M. Dunn, Kasey Dunn, great grandchildren, Drake and Danica Dunn, nephew, Vernon Dunn, and nieces Debbie Stout and Nancy Morgan. Barney was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one brother, WayneDunn.Memorial services for Barney will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Wheatland Christian Church with Pastor Brent Cramer officiating.
