Candace Cox

Candace D. Cox, of 818 W. Main, Washington, passed away at 8:32 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born January 13, 1953 in Evansville to Carlos & Beulah (Willis) Gonterman.Candace had worked for Greene County Health Care. She was a member of the Moose and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Surviving is her husband, Tom Cox, whom she married March 31, 1989; her children, Anthony Gonterman of Carlisle, Ana Martinez of Indy, Miguel Gonterman of Washington, Crystal Saldana of LaBelle, FL, Amy Keller of Wheatland, Tina Patterson of Freelandville, and Angie Foster of Vincennes; her sisters, Carmie Denning of Mt. Vernon, and Rachel Sue Jarvis of Bloomington; along with 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
