Carl Wade

Carl C. Wade, 95, passed away December 18, 2020. Carl was born November 11, 1925 in DeKalb County, Alabama the son of Ira and Bessie (Bowman) Wade. He married Christine Igou on April 15, 1947 and she preceded him in death on November 5, 2020.Carl served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II and was employed with the B and O Railroad as a brakeman and conductor.Survivors include his daughters, Susan Schnarr and her husband Steve of Washington, Lenna Reinhardt and her husband Bruce of Lenoir, NC; his grandchildren, Ryan Schnarr, Rob Schnarr, Thomas Dennis, April Dennis; and twelve great grandchildren. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Christine Wade, two brothers, and one sister.Private graveside services will be held at Sugarland Memory Gardens. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, Washington is honored to assist the Wade family with arrangements.
