Carol Devine

Carol Devine passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana at the age of 85. She was born on June 22, 1937, in Knox County Indiana. Those left to cherish her memories include three sons Paul Devine, Byron Devine wife Sandy, Michael Devine wife Carla, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one first cousin Rita Smith, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Devine, two sisters Ann Wheeler, Jolene Becker, two brothers Donald Wheeler, David Wheeler, father Joseph Wheeler, and mother Mildred Wheeler. Carol Devine attended Salvation Army Church in Vincennes. She loved her family very much. Working cross word puzzles, coloring, being in the outdoors, and spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved to cook and bake every Sunday afternoon for her family and fried chicken was her specialty. She will be deeply missed by all. Funeral services celebrating the life of Carol Devine will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 5:00 pm at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Gardner Brockman Chapel on 505 Main Street Vincennes. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Hadra. Interment will be a private graveside at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 3:00 pm until service time at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Gardner Brockman Chapel in Vincennes, Indiana.
