Carol Jones

Carol J. French, 65, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born July 27, 1947 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Douglas and Nancy Lee Jones Wiley. She worked at Burns Security, was a member of The Pentecostal of Owensboro and was a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed mowing, fishing, cooking, NASCAR races, bowling and gardening. Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Henry Wayne Pryor. She is survived by her children, Lila Atkins, Sonja Williams and James Lee Pryor. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry French and five grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at The Pentecostal of Owensboro Church with Bill Huff officiating. Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
