Carol Redman

Carol Jane Mounts Redman, 92, of Owensville, IN passed away November 19, 2020. She was born December 28, 1927 in Gibson County to the late Charles "Jack" Edgar Ingram and Olive Opal Ingram. Carol was in the 1945 graduating class of Owensville High School. She worked at Owensville Nursing Home in the laundry department. Carol was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting in her spare time. Carol like spending time in the garden tending to her flowers, her and Bob always planted a big garden. Every Christmas she would have a box of handcrafted items that her family was able to pick a special gift from. Carol loved animals; she was known for feeding the stray kittens around the farm. She also enjoyed watching her granddaughter play and coach basketball. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; stepmom Gertie Ingram; first husband Russell Earl Mounts; second husband Robert A. Redman; daughter Betty Henshaw; stepchildren Ricky and Vicky Redman; and son in law Ron Roller. She is survived by her children Sue Roller and Roberta (Randy) Ross; brother Charles (Mary Lee) Ingram; grandchildren Tracy Roller, Ryan Ross, Brandon Ross, and Michael Low; and several great grandchildren. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Redman. Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Holder's Funeral Home from 10a-11a. Funeral will be held at 11am with interment at Owensville Cemetery. All those who wish to honor and remember Carol in person at the service is required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance.
