Carolyn Sue Wallace, 66, 805 N. 13th St., Vincennes, passed away at 6:56 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born June 6, 1945, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Clifford Eugene and Clara Berniece (Elkins) Reel. Carolyn was a homemaker and was a member of Christ Community Church. She was active in Sunday, Monday and Thursday night Bible studies. She collected ceramic dolls and enjoyed going to flea markets.Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wallace, whom she married May 29, 1964, of Vincennes; daughter, Ruth J. Abugosh and her husband Yousef of Saudi Arabia and Angie Bennett of Vincennes; son, Jerry Wallace, Jr. of Vincennes; grandchildren, Sarah Abugosh, Ahmad Abugosh, Hiba Abugosh, Samira Abugosh, Muhammed Abugosh, Hamzah Abugosh, Husni Abugosh and Kayla Bennett; great-grandchild, Layana Alejil; and brother, Rickie E. Reel and his wife Janet of Vincennes.Preceding Carolyn in death were her grandson, Sami Abugosh and her parents.Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 2 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Fellows and Pastor Tim Tesmer officiating.
