Catherine Evans

Catherine Evans, 89, of Vincennes, IN passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on September 16, 2022. She was born in Vincennes, IN on November 13, 1932, to the late Hubert and Lena (Kutter) Eaton. Catherine attended Lincoln High School. She married, the love of her life, Harry Paul Evans, on May 28, 1960. Catherine enjoyed many things in life such as drinking coffee, looking at her flowers, sitting on her patio with her grandchildren, watching westerns, and reading People magazine. She will be deeply missed. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harry Evans; son Michael Evans; siblings Hubert Eaton Jr., Harvey Candler Sr., and Mary Chammess. She is survived by her children Randy Evans, Debra Halter, Kathy Brames, Connie Reno; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Ms. Evans. A graveside services will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, at 11am in Memorial Park Cemetery.
