Catherine F. Killion

Catherine F. Killion, 91, of Washington, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 14, 2023, in Washington.

She was born on March 29, 1932, to the late William Bernard Fielder & Barbara Ann (Boyd) Fielder, in Washington, Indiana.

Catherine was a 1951 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. Following high school, she married the love of her life, Hugh A. Killion, and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1995.

Catherine was a member of the Francis Vigo Chapter DAR. She worked as a homemaker for most of her life, always making sure her family was well taken care of. She enjoyed working in the yard, and making sure her grass was cut to perfection. She also enjoyed taking care of others, and especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Surviving Catherine are her children; daughters Cynthia (David) Frederick and Molly Rogers (Stacey Foster); sons Bernie (Cynthia) Killion and John Killion; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh A. Killion; her parents, William and Barbara; her sister, Norma; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation for Catherine will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501 from 11:00-1:00pm. A funeral service will begin immediately following the conclusion of visitation at 1:00pm with Yvonne Evans officiating. Following the service, Catherine will be laid to rest next to her husband, Hugh, in Aikman Creek Cemetery.
