Catherine "Cathy" C. Willis, 67, of 1011 N 10th, Vincennes, passed away at 5:55 pm Wednesday December 14, 2016 at her residence.She was born March 16, 1949 in Vincennes to Randall Lee and Dorothy (Pooler) Hedge.Cathy was a CNA and housekeeping at various nursing homes and had also worked in the melon fields.Her memberships included the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Moose. Cathy enjoyed playing tips and working puzzles and enjoyed RC cola, ice water, and Reese's cups.Surviving are her children; Carla Myers of Vincennes, Samuel Lee Lewis of Vincennes, and Jackie (Ricky) Daugherty of Elberfeld, IN; her brothers and sister, May Wilson of Oaktown, Sharon Seals of Vincennes, Penny McKee of Vincennes, Janet Clem of Vincennes, Theresa Hedge of Vincennes, Chuck Hedge of Vincennes, and Mike Hedge of Vincennes; along with five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Willis; her parents; along with a sister and a brother.A Celebration of Cathy's Life will be at 3:00 pm Friday December 16, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Pearson officiating.
