Charles Barekman

Charles Curtis Barekman passed away from this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana at the age of 57. He was born on Monday, May 4, 1964, in Vincennes, Indiana. He is survived by his three sons Kyle Barekman, Curtis Barekman wife Morgan, Charles Barekman, one brother Gary Barekman, two sisters Gail Hess, Mary Jean Caballero husband Conrad three grandchildren Parker Barekman, Piper Barekman, Noah Barkeman, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Gerald Barekman, mother, Lois Small Barekman, one brother Terry Barekman, one sister Alice Loomis, along with other family members. Charles graduated from South Knox High School and was a lifetime member of the Indiana Presbyterian Church in Vincennes, Indiana. He loved the outdoors and fishing. Camping with his family and friends was one of his favorite things to do. He loved to watch old westerns and MASH on television also. He will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of life for Charles Curtis Barekman will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm at the Indiana Presbyterian Church in Vincennes, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Frank Harmon. Visitation for a gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 11:00, am until service time at the church.
