Charles "Chuck" Briner, Jr. 46, of 1547 East Locust Street, Vincennes, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Monday December 27, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.He was born in Vincennes on July 14, 1964 in Vincennes to Charles D. & Judith K. (Evans) Briner.Chuck had worked for Schott corporation. He served his country in the Air Force for ten years and the Air Guard for eight years. Chuch was a avid bowler and a Los Angeles Dodger fan. Surviving are his parents, Charles D. & Judith K. (Evans) Briner of Vincennes, two daughters, Jessica Nikole Briner and Clara Rose Briner, both of Vincennes, a brother, Michael D. "Wally" (Karen) Briner of Lawrenceville, a granddaughter, Jovie Lucille Haynes, and two nephews, Logan Waller and Evan Briner.Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Herbert L and Hazel (McCoy) Evans and Delbert and Clara Briner.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Frances officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites performed by the V.F.W.- American Legion all weather firing squad. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice
