Charles Brink

Charles E. Brink Jr., 94, of Vincennes, passed away at Lodge of the Wabash on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.He was born January 30, 1920 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to Charles and Mae E. (Routein) Brink.Charles retired from the Army as a sergeant first class and was an 82nd Airborne Ranger. After coming home from the military, Charles worked for Hamilton Glass and the YMCA. His memberships included the VFW and American Legion. Surviving is his daughter, Connie (Dwaine) Anderson of Vincennes; two sons, John Brink of Lawrenceville and Roy Brink of South Carolina; grandchildren, Dustin and Jennifer Burris, and Joseph and Jenny Burris; and his great grandchildren, Haedyn, Noah, and Jude Burris.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara (Langford) Brink, two brothers, and one sister.Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday January 30, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Robin Overby officiating.
