Charles Jordan

Charles Edward Jordan, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, after an extended illness. Charles was born on November 27, 1938, to Edward and Marjory (Davidson) Jordan. He graduated from Wheatland High School in 1956. He attended Vincennes University and Southern Illinois University. Charles served his country in the Army Reserves. He was a farmer and also a construction carpenter, working out of the Carpenters Local Hall. On December 2, 1961, he married Karen Prather. They celebrated 60 years together. Survivors include his wife Karen, his children Jonell (Mark) Harlow; Mark (Chris) Jordan; Douglas (LeeAnn) Jordan; Vicki (Ryan) Gilbert; his grandchildren, Jace Harlow; Jaleigh (Zack) Raya, Claire Jordan, Charlie Jordan, Drake Jordan, Channing Jordan, Ben DeBaltzo, Dean DeBaltzo, Michael Gilbert, Phoebe Gilbert; and great-granddaughter Harlow Raya; his sister, Mollie Donaldson. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. His parents and sister Flossie Price preceded him. Charles was in partnership with Bethany Christian Church, Vincennes Campus where family will welcome friends on Tuesday, February 8, from 12:00 pm -2:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm.
