Charles Patton

Charles W. Patton, 51, 203 Cherry, Bicknell, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at his residence. Born October 20, 1959, in South Portland, Maine, he was the son of Carl Richard and Beverly (Jerrell-Menke) Patton.Charles worked at ATS and loved to fish and watch sports on TV. He was a member of Bicknell Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as a past member of the 40 et 8, American Legion, Moose and served as the first president of the Men's Auxiliary Post 1157. He was an emotional and loving family man and served his country in the United States Army.Survivors include his wife, Tammy (Cutsinger) Patton of Bicknell whom he married October 8, 2001; mother, Beverly Patton of Bicknell; step mother, Ronette Patton of Vincennes; children, Derek Patton, Brandon Patton, Dustin Patton, Jeff Patton, Brittany Patton, step sons, Jordan Wilkes and R.J. Melton; brothers, Greg Patton of Indian Mound, TN and Brad Patton of Spanaway, WA; sister, Michelle Hiatt of Vancouver, WA and grandchildren, Austin Patton, Abby Patton and Wesley Patton.Preceding Charles in death were his father, Carl Patton; brother, Jeffrey Patton and uncle, Gary Patton.Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Interment will follow in Bicknell Cemetery.
