Charles R. "Chic" Leonard Sr.

Charles R. "Chic" Leonard Sr. 82, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville.He was born August 6, 1937 in Washington, Indiana to John R. and Mildred (Mischler) Leonard.Chic was a graduate of the University of Evansville and worked for Potter & Brumfield Siemens. He served in management positions in Princeton, Georgia, Mexico, and Kentucky. His memberships included Blue Grass United Methodist Church, Prince Lodge, F&AM, and the Scottish Rite. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing and fishing and watching his grandchildren's activities.Surviving is his wife Lucy (Puckett) Leonard, whom he married on December 25, 1960; their children Leslie, C.R., Elizabeth, Laurel, and John David; a brother Richard; his grandchildren in which he was a proud Pop, Brandon, Cole, Rachael, Zachary, Hunter, Addison, Todd, John, Jacob, Lucy, Grayson, Peyton, Carter, and Kenzie; along with several great grandchildren.
