Charles Riker

Charles Hugh Riker passed away from this life on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the age of 78. He was born on Wednesday, July 28, 1943, to the union of Carl Logan Riker and May Johnson Riker. Those left to cherish his memories include daughter Leanna Riker, son Tom Riker, Brian Riker wife Tammy, son Derek Riker wife Rachel, one brother Jeff Riker, 21 grandchildren Brian, Kaya, Dometery Selena, Tabitha, Terry, Kelly, Spencer, Marshall, Brianna, Tiffany, Tucker, Sarah, Daman, Jess, Robert, Jamie, Casey, Charlie, Ashley, Catlyn, many great-grandchildren, along with numerous grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Violet Darlene Riker, one daughter Samantha Riker, parents Carl Logan Riker, May Johnson Riker, 5 siblings Carlotta, Ralph, Barbara, Basil, Warren, step-father Evert Johnson, along with other relatives and friends. Charles Riker served in the United States Air Force as a plane mechanic and was stationed in Alaska while he was in service. He worked at Prestolite factory for many years and retired from there. He then took a job at Crane Naval Base. He loved to watch Joe Biden on television. He loved to buy and resale furniture and antiques on the side. That was his and Violet's passion. He will be missed by all. Visitation for Charles Hugh Riker will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State Street Washington, Indiana.
