Charles Sweeten

Charles "Charlie" Phillip Sweeten, born December 25, 1961, went to be with the Lord October 31, 2018. He was the son of Roy Sweeten, Jr. and Carol (Wesley) Jobe.Charles was a Board Certified Respiratory Therapist. He received Associates Degrees from Vincennes University in general studies and business administration. He enjoyed biking and going on hikes. Charlie was a talented guitarist.Surviving is his mother, Carolyn Jobe of Vincennes, IN; his sister, Susan Sweeten-Later and her husband, Scott of California; his brother, Roy Michael Sweeten and his wife, Dana, of Tennessee; nieces, Katlyn Worst and her husband, Joel, of California, Holly Bane and son, Jayden Hatfield, of Oaktown, IN and Amber McGlone of Carlisle, IN; and a nephew, Marcus Simmon of Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Sweeten, Jr.Friends may visit with Charlie's family from 1:00 - 2:30 Sunday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2:30 Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery at a later date.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to assist the family with funeral expenses, or donations may be made to the Central Church of Christ.
